This was my first annual review with a NAMS Stoma Nurse. Tammy was very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in my general health and well-being as well as stoma related issues

I couldn’t of asked for better she was amazing put me at ease listened spoke and advised me and I came away from the appointment feeling like a new person and completely different about my stoma couldn’t be more thankful ❤️

Profile
I have been a registered nurse since 2007 and a prescribing nurse since 2017. I joined the Connect service as a specialist prescribing stoma nurse in 2020. Since joining the team I have completed in house training in stoma care and completed a university module in advanced stoma care in 2021.
Prior to joining the team I worked as a practice nurse with a specialist interest in diabetes and also at Queens Medical Centre in the head and neck department.
